RE: Peak kodiak sc83 camper leaking help
My old Bigfoot had a leaking window that I tried to fix with caulk outside the flange. It eventually rotted the floor. As others have said, the way to fix this is to replace the butyl tape under the flange.

I think that it is more of a matter of them not wanting the liability. I have been to ford dealerships, lube change places and such and none had a problem with my camper being on the truck
I can assure you the bays are not tall enough. Even if it was simply a liability issue, that would be reason enough to keep jacks on.

My local Ford dealership service bays cannot accommodate my truck with the camper on board. I'd hate to get stuck on the road somewhere with a similar situation and no jacks.

hysteresis in the level sensor system, that is the height difference between compressor on and off levels. Even though the suspension dropped, it was still within its happy zone.

Not only would it prevent a stronger battery from charging a weaker battery
It would prevent the converter from doing so as well.. No valid reason for doing that.
I would expect the converter negative lead to be between the two diodes. The voltage drop across the diodes will prevent the converter from fully charging the batteries, though, unless the converter has been adjusted to a higher voltage.

Is that 5" to the COG of the camper alone? If so, your actual COG will move aft when you put weight on the tongue. Where does your truck's camper certification say your COG should be?

So if the 48" Supertruss can handle 600 lb tongue weight, does that equate to 600 lb upward force as well?
Not necessarilty. You only get upward force with a weight distribution hitch.
The upward force I'm speaking of comes from the skid roller on the ground taking weight off of the rear truck suspension.
I still have a roller ball mount in my pack rat collection. Used with the the old truck and camper and light boat and 18" extension. The roller is worn down where it went sideways when turning into a fuel station. The Torklift product doesn't look like it's any better at rolling sideways.

Says 6000/600 at 48" without WD.
Anyone dragging these things on the ground at grade changes? Seems like it wouldn't take much at 48". Might at least want to deal with the suspension sag caused by the camper + tongue.

Front turnbuckles are spring loaded to help reduce stress on tie-down points
Rear turnbuckles are cushioned with rubber
Ensures proper amount of tension for bumper-mounted tie-downs while still minimizing stress on tie-down points
Perhaps it's possible to buy four fronts somewhere.
